The majority of my artwork on this blog, a continuation of a Covid project for friends, is made from photographs, although I used to work with acrylics and pen and there are a few of those old ones here, as well as occasional straight photos.
I use my photos of such things as the dregs of yogurt in a bowl, the foam in a sink, the veins in a leaf, the grey patterns on concrete or asphalt, as a base and work on them digitally. Look at the bark as well as the trees! You can see more about this under ART METHODS in the top menu.
I want to encourage people to really look closely at the colours, shapes, light, around them and to see the patterns in nature and other forms.
